Our ferry ran late, but the two hosts were ready to wait for us past check-in, even though we'd booked at the last minute for Calici di Stelle. When we arrived, they welcomed us warmly and gave us a brochure with directions to the event in the historic town center, only 200 meters away. The room felt very welcoming, with Sardinian touches in everything from the curtains to the furnishings. The sheets smelled of fabric softener and made the room feel especially clean. Breakfast was included and varied, with their own grapes and cured meats, plus a delicious homemade tiramisu. I hope I can come back and see the brothers who run the B&B, Massimo and Andrea.

The shared bathroom was a concern when we booked, but once we arrived, we changed our minds completely. It was shared with just one other room, and every time we used it, it was spotless and smelled fresh. Even the toilet had guarantee seals. The attention to cleanliness impressed us so much that I'd choose this place again a hundred times. Keep it up, and see you next time.

The village sits on a slope, so be ready for a workout if you explore on a summer afternoon when it can get close to 40 degrees Celsius. Aside from that, it was a charming stop on our trip around northern Sardinia, ideal if you're getting around by car. It's close to town but away from the city chaos, and the nearest beach is a few kilometers away in the municipality of Sorso, with an unforgettable sunset. The hosts shared tips we'd missed while planning. In the evening we could unwind in the "Relax" area beside the property, where breakfast is served. Rated 10+.

We spent three days here and slept really well. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom had good water pressure in the shower, plus quality towels and sheets. Andrea was friendly when we arrived and suggested places to see nearby. You're right in the village, with restaurants, a pub, and an ice cream shop. The beach isn't very close, though the Sardinian village itself has plenty of charm.
