BB Al Serio

A nice place to stay.

The owners were wonderfully helpful and welcoming, and even set up an airport transfer both ways for a fair price. The apartment takes up the ground floor of a villa. It's small but comfortable and tidy, with two double bedrooms, a spacious bathroom, and a little shared room for breakfast. Each bedroom opens onto furnished outdoor space with stone flooring, a handy spot for smokers. There's no air conditioning, but radiators and a floor fan are provided. The price felt fair. The bus stop is only a short walk away, and Bergamo train station takes about 30 minutes to reach.

The generous breakfast was enough for everyone, and the location is great. It has a homey feel here in Seriate. Still, the hand soap dispenser was empty even though there was a fancy ornament beside it. And half the spotlights had exposed wires, especially in the bathroom, where the steam could cause damage.

The fast internet, clean rooms, and reasonably priced airport transfer were definite pluses. The transfer was €15 in total. Breakfast was the usual Italian sweet spread. I took off a star because the garden shown in the listing was replaced by a construction mess outside our window, and nobody had warned us.
