The restaurant was great, and Monte Terminio is close by. A lovely hotel near Serino.

There’s a chapel nearby, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. The hostess had baked a fresh chocolate cake herself, and it was delicious. Dinner and breakfast were both very good too. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and in very good condition by Italian, especially southern Italian, standards. The service was friendly.

The pool was in awful shape, full of leaves and animals, with ordinary water that hadn’t been chlorinated. When we asked for it to be cleaned, the owner said it was our problem, not his. The hotel felt completely neglected. The rooms were shabby, damaged, and dusty even after cleaning. Service was terrible: the owners and waiters were arrogant and very rude. There was no one at the bar, and reception was unattended too. Three of us got stuck in the elevator. They again said it wasn’t their problem, adding that there wasn’t enough room for the technician. We were left to explain it away as exceeding the 800+ kg weight limit, even though there were only three of us.
