Cincinnato Wine Resort

Once you get through the gates, the place feels like a luxurious wine resort, even though the drive there makes it seem like you're in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed the good rooms and their views of Cori, the pool overlooking the vineyards, and the host and wine. Being close to Cori meant plenty of lunch and dinner choices, and Lariano and other towns were still near enough to go out for dinner. The restaurant was closed while we were there, unfortunately, so we didn't get to experience it properly.

The vineyard and Cori views are breathtaking, and our room was clean and cozy. The staff were welcoming and professional. We were only told a couple of days before our stay that the restaurant opens on weekends only and closes at 5 pm. Wine tasting also needs to be booked for specific days of the week. Everyone left at night, which felt a bit strange and unsafe.

Parking was a plus, and the hotel, pool, and views were all really beautiful. The breakfast could have had a bit more, though. We missed fruit and maybe something warm, especially for a hotel with its own restaurant. Some vegan milk or food options would be nice these days too. Still, it was a great stay.

The winery's wines were very good, and my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the setting, service, and food. We live in Rome and will definitely come back. Book a few days ahead, since it fills up, and you won't get a table if you turn up without a reservation. Excellent all around.
