We spent a fantastic week in this lovely part of Italy, near Verona, Mantua, and Ferrara, and only an hour and a half by car from Venices. The old villa has so much charm. We had barbecues with the kids in the garden, relaxed by the pool, and enjoyed the beautiful grounds. The owners were wonderful hosts. They helped whenever we needed them, while still giving us plenty of independence. We could use the large kitchen and bake our own food. Thanks for taking such good care of us and our friends. We highly recommend it.

Once the villa’s caretaker, Mrs. Tatiana, brilliantly sorted out some initial hot water problems, staying in this historic place felt priceless. The garden and park are beautiful and well maintained, and breakfast for my group of 13 was excellent. The trip was worth it. Bring mosquito spray, since the villa is by the Po River.

I stayed here for two days in May 2016. It was very cold, and the facilities for guests were really poor. The windows stuck and were hard to open and close. There wasn’t an employee in the house to help us. If we needed anything, we had to go to the caretakers’ house and call them. Breakfast was very weak. The grounds outside are beautiful and well kept, but I wouldn’t recommend the place.
