Aurora Medieval House

The terrace gives you a breathtaking sweep of the countryside, with the bell tower and hills to the east and ochre roof tiles all around. In the evening, a breeze comes through and everything gets so still; the sense of peace is hard to put into words. The place has every comfort, from the shower to the kitchenette, and feels like home. Its restoration is immaculate and state of the art, yet the house still feels as if it belongs to the early Middle Ages. An ancient tower is only a few feet away, and Sermoneta's old castle is just a short distance off. Every detail has been handled with care. Staying here makes you feel more connected to the spirit of the town. It's one of the most stunningly beautiful places I've ever visited.

The rooms were comfortable and decorated with a lot of care, and the roof balcony has lovely views. It's set high up in this wonderful medieval town, with great hospitality too.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, thanks to the owner, who was so friendly and helpful. Their warm hospitality and local tips added a lot to our stay. The terrace was a highlight, with breathtaking views over the historic town and surrounding landscape. Aurora Medieval House is right for enjoying Sermoneta's charm, and the house was beautifully maintained and full of character, just like the pictures. We'd happily recommend it for a stay in a medieval setting.

I'd wanted to stay here for ages, and the apartments really are enchanting, each with its own character across the ground-floor building. There's a panoramic terrace, a charming central apartment, and a private alcove with a large tub. The renovation feels welcoming, right from the entrance courtyard in the village alley, and the cleanliness was beyond what I expected. One bit of advice: pack light. Even for two or three days, bulky bags mean extra effort getting from parking outside the walls to the apartment. The essentials are enough. Compliments to the owners for everything.
