The terrace was the only good part of the stay. The service didn’t justify the price. We arrived ready to pay, but hadn’t even had time to carry our bags up the endless stairs before she sat on the steps waiting for us to leave the room. The day before we left, they reminded us twice that checkout was at 9:30, instead of the usual 10. After we got the car from the main road, the owner was already in the room taking off the sheets while our things were still inside, without giving us time to bring our bags out. The place is in a very nice location, but the host wasn’t very welcoming. They removed the B&B designation to avoid offering breakfast, which should be included at the price they charge. I’m giving it 1 star only because of the terrace.

The apartment was nicely equipped, and the beds were comfortable. It’s a pleasant, fairly comfortable property. The towels didn’t smell clean, though. That’s something I never seem to find in any hotel or B&B.

They asked us to settle the bill right by the roadside as soon as we arrived. The hygiene and cleanliness were extremely poor. The daily rates had also been changed and didn’t match the actual price stamped and displayed in the room by the Puglia region. I really don’t recommend it.

I’m leaving this here to warn anyone planning a stay: telephone reservations aren’t honored. I spoke with Pino and got verbal confirmation of availability and the price. When I asked about a deposit, he said it wasn’t needed and that I could pay at the property. Two days before arriving, I called just to confirm, only to be told there was no booking in my name. The owner then said I should use Booking.com, effectively voiding what we’d agreed on. What disappointed me most was how indifferent they were, without even a hint of an apology. A business dealing with the public needs professionalism and reliability, and I found neither here.
