They make you feel at home with their hospitality.

The stairs to the bedrooms felt unsafe, with no signs or barriers, which seemed especially dangerous for children. The shower leaked, and cleanliness was poor: there was a big stain on the duvet and several insects, including dead ones. We booked for four, with two small children, based on the listing and photos showing an apartment with a kitchen. But when we arrived in the evening as agreed, we found the kitchen wasn’t included. We asked if we could use it, even for a fee, and were told no because it had been booked by other “ghost” guests who never appeared during our two-night stay. An experience I’d rather forget.

The owners are wonderful and do all they can to meet your requests. They were especially helpful with car rides, whether we needed the station, work, public services, a supermarket, or somewhere else. They were always available and offered the rides for free, like a taxi. Truly lovely people, with excellent courtesy and availability.

We were made to feel very welcome. The house was spotless and well equipped, in a quiet location that’s handy for Pombia Safari Park, Arona, and Stresa.
