Agriturismo Cercina Vecchia

We had lunch outside on a sunny day, and it was gorgeous. It felt like a real getaway from Florence here in Cercina. There’s no menu: they bring classic Tuscan appetizers, then a couple of pasta dishes based on what’s in season, and grill meat for you in the garden. Most of the produce is grown on the property. If you’re in a big group, you can reserve the one long table inside, right in the kitchen, with the family cooking beside you. The food and service felt authentic and were really good. Highly recommended.

I only ate here, and the setting was the best. Great food and service, with a really family oriented feel. I definitely want to come back.

A friend suggested this place, so I booked lunch with some old friends. We sat outside in the shade beneath a pergola. We had mixed appetizers, homemade tagliatelle and tortelli, roast meats, salad, dessert, water, wine, and coffee.
