I was here for my bartending competition. The room had loads of space, two wardrobe slots, and an iron if you need one. The staff gave great service, and breakfast had plenty of choices. There's a small supermarket nearby, and the Metro is an easy 5 min walk. I also ended up having three of the bar's nice, easy Pink Garibaldi drinks made with fresh pink grapefruit! 🤣

We stayed for two nights and felt really comfortable. The room was very big and clean, and breakfast had plenty of variety. The hotel is close to the Metro, so getting to the city center was easy.

The bar was the best part for me, with friendly bartenders and excellent wine. I also had dinner at the restaurant once, but the dish seemed microwaved, so I didn't go back. The hotel is well situated, though there were issues. On arrival I was told we couldn't earn points because we booked through a third party, but that wasn't true. As a life time platinum member, I can usually get free breakfast, while here it costs 25 euro, and an omelet is another 10 euro. The room was basic but okay. The bathroom is old, the shower door doesn't close, and the toilet seat is too close to the wall. I tried ironing a white shirt, but it was stained after one pass because the iron was dirty.

Sabrina at the front desk was polite and friendly, and her English was first class. The rooms were great and breakfast had a wide choice of food. The location is a little far from the town centre, but a Metro ride or cab sorts that out. I had a great experience here.

I stayed in room 603 between Nov 29 - Dec 1. On the morning of Nov 30, while I was downstairs having breakfast, someone went into my room and stole €1200 and additional cash from my wallet. I sent management a detailed email about it and haven't received a response. For a brand like Marriott, staying silent after a guest is robbed in their room is disgraceful and highly unprofessional. What makes this even more scandalous is that the hotel hasn't checked the digital key logs or CCTV footage from the 6th floor, as far as I can tell. This was a professional hit during breakfast hours, and the lack of action suggests a serious internal security issue. WARNING TO ALL TRAVELERS: Your belongings are not safe here. If you are robbed, management will simply ignore you. I will escalate this to Marriott Global and pursue legal action. Avoid this hotel if you value your security and peace of mind.
