Berghotel

We had a great holiday here. It’s kid friendly, with playrooms the children will love, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner was incredible, and the wellness area is lovely, with one of the best relaxation spaces I’ve visited. The hotel is clean and comfortable, right beside the ski slope.

We came back to Berghotel for another stay, and this one may have been our best yet. Beautiful weather, a relaxing atmosphere, and easy access to our favorite ski area made it unforgettable. The massage and sauna team deserve a special thank you. Their friendly, excellent service was the highlight for us.

The setting is amazing, up on a hill with sunshine through the end of the day, wide mountain views, and great routes for biking and hiking. I’ve stayed at plenty of good hotels with good locations and rooms, but what sets Berghotel apart is how well it’s run. The kitchen, service, sauna master, receptionists, and room service are all extraordinary. I love this place and will definitely return. Most of all, thank you to the kitchen team for preparing special meals every day for our child, who can’t eat fructose, lactose, or gluten. It was a real challenge, but they followed our instructions and made amazing food for her. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

We arrived on a grey, cool, rainy afternoon in September 2025, unsure whether the hotel would suit us. By the time our two weeks were over, we knew we’d chosen well. You can feel the Holzer family’s care and wish to make guests’ stay special in the way the whole team works. We slept well in comfortable beds in a warm, spacious Zirm suite. The furnishings and equipment were good, and an efficient, unobtrusive housekeeper kept everything clean. Breakfast had a great range, so people from all sorts of backgrounds could find something they wanted. The chef and team adapted the imaginative, delicious dinner menu each evening for one person in our party who had to follow a strict diet. We’d told the hotel about this before arriving. In the dining room, service was consistently warm and thoughtful, even though our main server was working in their third language. After days of hiking, we appreciated the well-kept sauna, steam room, and swimming facilities. Reception staff were well informed and always ready to help with anything, including advice on walking routes. The walk guide seemed capable of anything and inspired us to feel the same. From the most experienced team members to the newest, people greeted us, smiled, spoke confidently, answered questions, and solved problems. Everything ran smoothly, and we had a very good stay.
