Baia Delle Favole

We had a nice, clean room with a refrigerator, and the sea view is spectacular if you can get one. You can even wake up to the sound of the waves. Baia delle Favole beach is only steps away, right by central Sestri Levante. The station is about 300 meters away, handy for taking the train to the Cinque Terre.

We’ll definitely return. The owner was so kind and helpful, and our lovely room came with a wonderful sea view and a large furnished balcony. The location worked perfectly too, about two minutes from the station and five minutes from the pedestrian center.

The rooms have a slightly vintage look, with floral patterns on the walls, but they’re clean, tidy and have what you need, including a hairdryer and a kettle with herbal teas. The Easter egg in our room was such a thoughtful touch. Mrs. Daniela is always kind and smiling, and her assistant brings breakfast with a gentle knock in the morning. The place is just a few meters from the seafront. I don’t usually review hotels or places to stay, but this one deserved a mention. See you soon!

The owner said he’d try to find a solution, but I felt he was lazy about it. There was no freezer for the ice from our cooler, so the day after we arrived we had to buy water and soft drinks despite bringing our own. The room had a bathroom and was comfortable, though there was no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan. We still slept comfortably. Parking was in a private garage 300 meters away. Recommended despite a few shortcomings.
