There are steps to climb to get here, but the location between the two beaches is great. Our room was very clean and had a nice view of the piazza and church, and the breakfast room overlooks one of the beaches. Francesco and Marzia were kind, helpful and really lovely hosts. They speak english and make a very nice breakfast.

For two weeks, Marzia and Francesco treated us like family and were so kind and helpful. The place was spotlessly clean, with our room tidied daily and sheets and towels changed every two days. Breakfast was excellent each morning. I'll miss Francesco's cheese omlettes! We look forward to coming back. :-)

B&B Portobello is a wonderful place to stay. Francesco and Marzia looked after us so well and are the most wonderful hosts. I'd give them ten stars if I could.

The view and location at Portobello were lovely. Francesco and Marzia spoiled us with a nice breakfast and good chats, and gave us the best advice on where to go and what to do. We loved staying there and would definitely recommend it.

I stayed here in May 2019 and never got around to writing a review, though I had a really great time. There's no TV in the room, but there is WIFI. Francesco and Marzia welcomed me and were beyond nice and accommodating. I'm not used to eating a big breakfast, but Marzia cooked every morning, and you really shouldn't leave before sitting down at the table. One morning she even made crepes from scratch. If you like the B&B experience, this is the place to go. Francesco gave me a quick tour of town and showed me where everything was. When I needed travel help, Google maps was available. Sestri Levante station is within walking distance, about 15 - 20 minutes, though I took a cab before realizing that. It's near the beach, restaurants, a supermarket, gelato and shopping. The room is intimate, and everything is accessible from this great place to stay.
