The staff’s attention to detail and care really stood out. The restaurant was fully booked on our first evening, so we shared a small table for dinner. The next morning, they had thoughtfully reserved a breakfast table for us with a magnificent panoramic view. That kind of hospitality made us feel warmly welcomed. This is much more than just a place to stay.

The location and rooms are great, truly beautiful. Mirko in the restaurant and the concierge staff bring a lot of cheer and personality to the hotel. The bar and restaurant staff, though, seemed to be going through the motions. Our first meal at the restaurant was amazing, but the second evening was a disaster, and Mirko wasn’t there that night. We didn’t go back after that and ate dinner in town instead.

The view over the town and sea from this beautiful location was tremendous. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel, and our room was great. Service from check-in through the restaurants was five star. I’d highly recommend it.

The view from the bar and restaurant left us speechless. Sitting there with a drink, looking out over the town and sea, was unforgettable, and honestly it’s the most breathtaking view we’ve ever seen. My wife, our 11-month-old, and I had one of our best hotel stays ever at Vis à Vis. The staff were among the friendliest and most welcoming we’ve met in all our travels. They made us feel at home and were especially kind and attentive to our little one, which meant the world to us. Our room was amazing, beautifully kept, and comfortable after exploring the charming town of Sestri Levante, which was a delight to wander around. We can’t recommend Hotel Vis à Vis enough. If you’re visiting Sestri Levante, this place is a must.

Breakfast came with a panoramic view, a lovely way to start the morning. The staff were helpful, the restaurant was good quality, and everything in town was within walking distance.
