Hotel du Col

A power cut left us in the dark in the bar. The bartender kindly put out a few candles and still managed to serve some beers and snacks. Absolutely lovely people.

We had a lovely stay, with clean rooms, easy access to the slopes, and a great range of delicious food. The staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond. The chef even made extra dishes for our young children and came out to say hello, and breakfast was available from 5am on the day we left. The manager was friendly and very helpful too. I can't understand the negative reviews, and don't see what there is to complain about. We'll definitely book again.

The ski-in/ski-out location was perfect, and they even had our boots warm each morning. We loved Hotel Du Col Sestriere. Both Marcelo’s made us feel like family, and the rest of the staff were amazing too. The rooms were clean, the food had plenty of options for different dietary needs, and the bar was fun, with quiz nights. The place is much better than the website photos suggest and offers fantastic value. I'd definitely recommend it for a ski trip.

We felt at home straight away, thanks to Marcelo the manager and a team that made the whole place feel like a family. Staff went out of their way to make our stay special, including cooking custom evening meals for me and adding breakfast options for my dietary needs. The food was fresh, home-cooked and varied from day to day, so the negative reviews elsewhere are puzzling. It's right on the slopes, which saved us loads of time, and the rooms were very clean with attentive daily housekeeping. Warm boots waiting each morning were a treat. The Crystal website photos don't do this charming place justice. We had fun in the bar, including quiz night. Excellent value, and we really can't recommend Hotel Du Col Sestriere enough for a ski holiday.
