Baglio Caruana Cantina & Relais

Breakfast felt like a warm hug, with great choices and so much care. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the pool and spa both have amazing views. The peaceful setting and beautiful landscape were lovely. I would have liked more wine tasting options, with or without dinner, but they explained those usually happen on weekends. A winery visit would have been a plus too. They did welcome us with their tasty wine.

The breakfast was very nice, and the hosts try hard to keep things peaceful. It’s a good fit if you want somewhere quiet and to yourself. The room itself was calm, but pigeons on the roof drove us crazy. Some of the facilities need attention: the toilet flush cover was missing in our room, the whirlpool had no power, and the pool shower didn’t work either. The wine tour felt mainstream, and we thought 30 EUR per person was too much for five glasses and a few bites.

We went for dinner and to see the winery, and the whole experience felt truly authentic. The location was great, the food and wine were excellent, and the hosts were lovely, friendly people who made us feel welcome. Dinner was a set menu of traditional Sicilian dishes with their own red and white wine. Our glasses never ran low because the hosts kept everyone topped up. The tour was short but interesting, and Benina did a good job of presenting it in English. I’d highly recommend it.

Just amazing. There’s an infinity pool and a great breakfast, and the B&B is surrounded by vineyards with rolling hills behind it. It’s only six minutes from the beach and six minutes from restaurants. The place is peaceful, the bed is comfortable, the shower and water pressure are fantastic, and everything is clean. They also run wine tours followed by dinner. A spa room was due to be finished soon.
