The rooms and the place are lovely, and the staff are very kind. That’s why I wanted to explain the problems rather than just complain. I work as a hotel room housekeeper, and by daily cleaning I mean sweeping and dusting. Our room was cleaned when we arrived, but over our three nights there was no further cleaning, only the trash emptied. We were glad we weren’t spending the days in the room. Breakfast was another letdown. We were told ahead of time that it would be at a nearby bar, and we went there on the other mornings. On our last morning we had an early departure, which we’d reported the day before. We noticed the shared kitchen was set up for breakfast, with a pod coffee machine, but didn’t dare make coffee. The bar we’d been using was closed, so we found coffee at a nearby Chinese-run bar that opened early. It would have been a nice courtesy to let us have at least a coffee in the kitchen. And about parking, it’s free if you can find a space. Otherwise you drive around a few times and keep looking until you get lucky. I saw the reply saying reviews are written to vent people’s egos, but I don’t see that as an answer to those of us who objected to breakfast being at the bar. These things are a flaw in an otherwise wonderful place.

Angolo della Trinachia is worth a try for good coffee and tasty Sicilian food. The B&B itself was lovely too, with clean rooms and beautiful decor, and the owners were kind and helpful throughout our four days with Filippo and his family. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Rome, especially if, like me, you need to stay near the Fabia Mater clinic. The C metro station is only a five-minute walk away, so the main sights are easy to reach.

The kitchen area has everything you need, and the owners were exceptionally kind and helpful. My room was fine, with a clean, functional bathroom. I had a lovely New Year's Eve 2023 and will definitely come back.

We felt so welcome throughout our stay! The room is spacious and kept clean, and the WC was clean too. The station is only a four-minute walk away. Breakfast at the café downstairs was wonderful as well.

Breakfast is served at a restaurant just a few steps away. If you're driving, parking is on the street; I found a spot very quickly. Buses and the metro are nearby, along with little shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Each of the three rooms has its own bathroom, and the kitchen is fully equipped. It’s on the eighth floor, close to the lift, which we hardly ever had to wait for. Laura was also easy to communicate with. I don’t know Italian, but we managed to speak in English.
