Dominic and his family are really nice. It’s a lovely place to stay, the food was delicious, and it has a very family oriented feel.

Whenever we left, the owner Dominic took our room keys and went in to turn off the lights and air conditioning, even in weather over 30 degrees. Coming back from the city, the room was so hot it was hard to breathe. He lied when we asked him about it. When we left early, he refused to refund the full amount for the unused nights.

Our stay in Siderno was a wonderful chance to enjoy a relaxed local Italian seaside experience. It’s genuinely charming rather than flashy. Siderno Superiore seems suited to a quiet seaside holiday, family roots, or a slower pace, instead of big city attractions. We heard that the owner, Chef Vincenzo, had a successful cooking career and was once a legend in NY. We wanted to meet him, speak English, and try his cooking. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we felt at ease, almost like family. The restaurant food was amazing. We can’t wait to return and stay with the Figliomeni family. Grazie per tutti!

My father and I used to eat divinely here for reasonable prices, so it’s a real shame that we were so disappointed at lunch. We’ve known the place for several years, and the quality has dropped dramatically in recent years while prices have clearly skyrocketed. For two, we paid €86 for sparkling water, a Coke, one appetizer to share, mixed grilled fish for two, and two coffees. With the quality now so much lower, it’s better to eat somewhere else at these prices.
