Farmhouse Il Poggiarello made it easy to experience Tuscany, and I'd highly recommend it. The owners and staff were gracious and helpful, and they booked us a table at wonderful local restaurants each evening. We had good conversations despite the language challenges, and somehow managed to understand each other quite well. Our room was spacious and well appointed. I loved the antique pieces and spent time looking closely at how they were made. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If I could give it 10 stars, I would! Donna Whitt

The host made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was great. They even offered to cook fresh scrambled eggs to order. The rooms have a rustic look but were very clean, and the modern air conditioning worked well and got nice and cold. Bring your own soap and shampoo.

Our rooms had lovely views across the Siena area, and there was plenty of space. Really nice rooms.

A home away from home, with lovely hospitality and a beautiful pool. It's only a few minutes' drive from Siena, and it's one of our favorite places to stay.

We stayed in an apartment and immediately noticed how clean and comfortable it was. It had all the essentials, including a dishwasher. Guests can share some outdoor spaces, but each one also has a private area of their own. The swimming pool sits among the greenery, with covered space nearby and lovely olive trees behind it. This area, like the rest of the beautifully kept property, is regularly cared for. Parking is reserved. The owner is another highlight. They're discreet but always around, and often point you toward nice discoveries nearby or share fantastic recipes for when you're feeling nostalgic. The service is well organized and complete, yet the place still feels like home. We hope to relive this dream soon.
