The shower and sink area are small, though the bed is large and there's a fridge plus a living and dining space. The gas stove was a welcome extra. There's a washer but no dryer, and a microwave but no oven. Unit27 has plenty of storage and counter space, and the privacy is good. Getting in is simple, with no stairs and just a short driveway. It's below street level, so the view is mostly a retaining wall beneath the high city wall. From the bedroom window, though, you can catch a nice look at the rolling countryside. The North gate is only steps away.

We stayed from Sunday, June 23, 2024, through Wednesday, June 26. The owners were very kind, and the apartment felt welcoming. There's a spacious living room, a well-equipped bedroom of a good size, and a kitchenette. The bathroom has a shower and everything you need. We really recommend it.

Just a few steps from the old city walls, this apartment worked really well as a base for a short stay in Siena, a city well worth a visit. It had everything we needed and then some. A lovely woman greeted us and shared all the useful information.
