Marco, the owner, gave us a very warm welcome, and we’d love to stay at Camollia again. Our room was spacious, recently renovated, and well equipped, with a comfortable bed and a shower that worked perfectly. A great B&B, 100% recommended!

Clean, good value, and the staff were helpful. The buffet breakfast was good too. It’s a modern place, so it lacks some of Siena’s character, and it’s nearly always fully booked, which can make it hard to get a room. Those are minor annoyances.

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable mattress and a nice shower. The staff were lovely and helpful. We liked the location too, a good middle ground between the city center and the train station. Definitely recommended and good value.

The breakfast was stale bread and croissants, and when we complained the next morning, the receptionist/owner responded quite rudely. Our room was very cold: the heating stayed off until 17:00, then went off again during the night. On a winter night below 0 C degrees, it was unbearable to sleep. One of the worst hotels we’ve ever stayed in, and a very disappointing experience.

It’s a nice, basic, quiet place in a strategic spot for getting to the historic center. I’d recommend it to anyone spending a few days in breathtaking Siena.
