We chose Montechiaro for our wedding with around 35 of our closest family and friends, and the whole experience felt magical. Renting every building on the estate gave us privacy and comfort while still leaving plenty of room to gather for meals, celebrations, and downtime. Everyone had a lovely place of their own to unwind. Laura was an incredible host and helped make everything smooth and joyful. She was warm, thoughtful, and quick to respond the whole way through. Planning a wedding from afar felt daunting, but she gave us useful context and guidance, made great recommendations (ask her about her favorite sandwich shop in town), and really cared about making the day go well. We couldn't have managed it without her. The winery was another highlight. We loved the wine and olive oil and took several bottles home. We arranged a private group tasting and tour, which helped us appreciate the land around us. We tried all their different wines, and the sommelier was awesome. Touring the vineyard was wonderful too. It's a small, inventive operation experimenting with organic growing, white wine in Tuscany, and different methods and grape blends. The buildings were clean, charming, and rustic in a good way, with modern comforts like room air conditioners and Starlink WiFi. The WiFi was a bit spotty, but nobody should be working anyway! The kitchens were functional, just what I wanted for cooking and sharing meals. Between the pools, vineyards, garden details, and Tuscan views, there were lots of spots to relax or celebrate. We visited in late June, so bring bug spray and plenty of sunscreen. Thanks to Laura and the team for such a magical beginning to our marriage. We'll treasure it forever!
