The breakfast was our favorite part, with so much care put into every element. The staff were extremely accommodating and ready to make reservations for us or help with anything we needed. We’d thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable stay in Siena’s city center. We spent two nights here, expecting a standard room, which looked beautiful in itself, but were given a suite when we arrived. The building also felt like stepping back in time. It was one of the most special experiences of our trip.

The Rosa room has lovely views of the sunrise and fireworks, and the service was great. The rooms are nice, in an historic apartment building that occupies the entire second floor. It’s centrally located.

We only had one night in Siena, and staying here made us wish we’d had longer. The room was beautiful and spacious, with a balcony furnished with a table and chairs for coffee. The staff were exceptionally helpful, and breakfast was served in a gorgeous sitting area. The place is also where the Pope once resided. It’s just steps from the Duomo.

Joanna made the stay feel especially easy, sorting out a ride to our rental car beyond the city and tailoring breakfast for us in the parlor each morning. We loved our unusual, charming room, with its painted fresco ceiling and huge chandelier. The rooftop panorama and the bottle of wine left in the room came as lovely extras. Residenza d'Epoca Palazzo Borghesi is right in the middle of Siena, a great base for visiting nearby wineries, and we highly recommend it.

Breakfast in the lovely sitting room was delicious, and the welcome at check-in was warm. They also let us leave our bags after check-in, and getting them back later was very straightforward. The Pompeii room was extremely comfortable, and the rooftop has sweeping views. We were delighted with this historic 15th-century palazzo in such a good spot in Siena. Highly recommend.
