Torre del Fuggisole

Sara and Felicia were amazing hosts and made our stay special. We also appreciated the valet parking, which saved us the stress of driving within the city walls. The rooms were modern, perfectly appointed, and really comfortable. The lovely wake-up treat was a nice way to start the day. It’s an easy walk to the centre, and this is a beautiful small hotel with plenty of special extras. There’s no lift, so it helps to travel light.

The view from the building’s crow’s nest at the top was amazing. The hotel itself was a perfect, quaint boutique for our time in Siena: friendly, helpful, and pleasant, with a beautiful, updated room that was quiet and comfortable. We could walk to everything we wanted to do. We’ll come again! Just be ready to manage the stairs to your room.

Our room was compact but perfect, and both bathrooms were clean and really nice. The staff were courteous and charming. We had a fabulous room at the top of the tower, up 55 steps and 42 steps. That night we bought sandwiches and wine, then sat in the little room up there looking over the roofs of Siena. It was romantic and fun. We’d happily stay again and recommend it to family and friends.

The terrace was a lovely spot for a simple breakfast, and the full renovation meant we could enjoy a clean, comfortable interior as well as the building's exterior beauty. In Florence, we’d had clean rooms but unpleasant sewage smells from the old plumbing, so the contrast here stood out. As a Korean couple traveling around Europe, we’d sometimes felt a subtle chill amid the unsettled global situation. I tried to remind myself we were here for the historic architecture and beautiful landscapes, but those occasional moments of distance and discrimination still weighed on me. The kindness we found here meant a lot. They celebrated our honeymoon by giving us a wonderful room, and when we showed interest in the contrade, they told us about the Contrada Museum. Visiting the Aquila and Civetta museums gave us a glimpse of their unique histories and left us with unforgettable memories. After that, we were lucky to meet especially kind people throughout Siena too. We’re very grateful to Sara, Marco, and the owner for their warmth. Wishing you all happiness!
