This is my regular choice in the area: the room is large and clean, the people are lovely, breakfast is good, and it’s reasonably priced. Restaurants are just a five-minute stumble away. Maybe Schlanders ist anders is why I like this town so much.

Right in the heart of Schlanders, with secure storage for bicycles and attentive room service every day. The hosts are very friendly, and the owner runs the place. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, it’s great value, and they offer helpful ideas for things to do each day.

After arriving drenched from a mountain bike ride, I was met with incredibly helpful, welcoming staff. They even gave me an old newspaper to pack into my shoes. The lovely breakfast buffet made the stay even better. Thank you!

There’s no lock on the room door, and the shared entrance reeks of sweaty shoes. After we went out to run errands, we came back to find the door open. The window was shut, although we’d left it tilted open. The bathroom also had a sewage smell, apparently because the wastewater drainage system hadn’t been maintained.
