We stopped by for the wellness area on a rainy day in August, and it was a great visit. The outdoor pool was out of service, which was the one letdown, but the place wasn't crowded and there were plenty of comfortable loungers and beds. Inside and outside, there were jacuzzis, a pool, and several saunas. The outdoor space had elegant Greek- and Roman-style pillars, and the self-service corner had thoughtful extras like towels, apples, and tea. The day ticket was reasonably priced compared with nearby options. A lovely spa hotel that also welcomes outside guests, and a good choice for couples or families.

We got engaged here, so this hotel means a lot to us. The staff helped my fiancée arrange a surprise at dinner and filmed the proposal. We’re thinking of coming back with our best men after the wedding for another weekend away. Both of our visits felt welcoming, and we’ve shared photos with family and friends and recommended the place. This was our second three-day romantic break, in spring 2025. The hotel is right in downtown Schlanders, about a five-minute walk from the local market and other things you might need. Hiking and cycling trails are close by, surrounded by nature, and the hotel provides local transport passes. We mostly stayed in to relax, using the spa pools and massage service. Shoutout to Andrea, who was discreet and professional. There’s an outdoor cold pool, a mildly warm outdoor hydrotherapy pool, another lukewarm indoor pool, a hot hydrotherapy pool, a lounge, a sauna, and a Turkish sauna. The water temperature suited me especially well. At other places, the pools are so hot that medical issues keep me from using them without getting sick. Here I could enjoy them. Just be aware that nudity is expected in the pool areas. The rooms are pretty standard for the area, but that didn't bother us since we weren't spending all day in them. The bedding was comfortable, and the rooms were tidy and clean, with lots of natural light. Some views aren't great, as you're still downtown and shouldn't expect only mountains, but tall trees and plants help provide privacy and block much of the surrounding urban scenery. The hotel is older, though well cared for. The food was another big reason we came back. We were genuinely impressed by both the range and the quality. Breakfast has international choices as well as local cold cuts, cheeses, breads, yogurt, cereal, and juice. There isn't lunch, perhaps because guests are out hiking, but there's a small mid-afternoon buffet with fresh fruit and cakes. I think savory snacks would improve it, though what's there tastes great. Dinner is the kitchen's strong point, with a generous appetizer buffet, cheeses and chutneys, and balanced five-course meals, including vegetarian options. It's all fresh, seasonal, local produce, cooked and portioned really well. Most of the staff speak at least two languages. They're young, friendly, and happy to chat or suggest places nearby, while staying discreet. The service is very good, and their kindness and willingness to help really stand out.

Dinner had a relaxed, refined feel, with à la carte dishes combining regional and international food. Breakfast was just as good: a generous buffet with organic options, fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order, and a sparkling wine toast each day.

We spent two nights here with a cycling group, and everyone was pleased. The restaurant service was prompt, and dinner was fabulous, with two appetizers, soup, a main course, and dessert. Breakfast was great too. The hotel seemed new to me, but the owner said it has been here for 25 years, and it's clearly well maintained and immaculate. Its name means Four Seasons, but it isn't part of the international Four Seasons hotel group.

The welcome and service were really accommodating. I still remember the bread, so fresh, crisp, and soft. The hotel had a very positive atmosphere. Highly recommended.
