We still remember the stay fondly. The owners were attentive, and it was easy to communicate in German or English; they also gave us useful tips. The location is great, and parking was included, though one evening we got back around 9:30 p.m. to find the lot already closed and had to find public parking. We barely got to enjoy the especially lovely garden because of the bad weather. The rooms are rustic but fine. The bathroom ventilation is very loud, which was a bit annoying, but you can switch it off.

The room was spacious, stylish, and clean, and we got a great local restaurant tip for dinner. We were traveling as two adults with our five-year-old, and the owners at Ai Giardini di San Vitale took such good care of us. They warned us that getting around Ravenna by public transport could be difficult, looked after us when we arrived, and went out of their way to help us make our cruise on time. They clearly care about their guests. We’re so grateful, and can’t recommend this cozy place enough.

We spent four lovely days here, and the stay had a real family feel, with a pretty little garden. The owner was so friendly and gentlemanly, almost like my grandpa. When he wasn’t smiling, though, he looked a bit like a big leader from Sicily. By the second morning, he already remembered that I liked cappuccino at breakfast! 😍 Little Gray Rabbit is very people-friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day, and we could easily walk to the train station, restaurants, and historic sites.

The owner is one in a million. He arranged our stay two doors down from his place so we could store the bikes we were using on our bikepacking trip. Breakfast was the best we had during our whole stay in Italy. Thanks for a great memory.

The location is fantastic, right in the center of Ravenna, with a view of Galla Placidia’s Mausoleum from the windows. The rooms are clean and well equipped, and the place has a really cozy, welcoming feel. Mr Concetto is a great host and ready to help with anything.
