The rooms are comfortable and carefully kept, and the owners notice every little detail. What stayed with me most was the food and the natural setting: the owners grow and prepare local produce with real care and an old-fashioned kind of knowledge. Set among olive trees, the farmhouse feels peaceful and gives you a deep sensory, almost spiritual experience. It was a kind of treat for both body and mind that I hadn't experienced before. Highly recommend.

Breakfast alone is a treat, especially if you love honey, since theirs is delicious. The staff are courteous and professional, and at Radici you can have modern local dishes with excellent wines. The few rooms at Petrara are welcoming and beautiful, with a timeless feel on a hill just a few kilometers from the sea. It’s a quiet alternative to the busy beaches, but still easy to reach. The owners are so kind and happy to suggest places to visit if you need ideas. If you’re after nature, good food, beauty, and warmth, you should absolutely go.

The freshly cooked food from Antonella was excellent, and she was happy to handle individual requests. The garden and Petrina the dog made the agriturismo feel even more lovely. Antonio was a delightful host, witty and generous with his time. He gave us thoughtful suggestions for exploring nearby, including hand-drawn maps, and even brought strawberries from the garden and a beer in the evening. Such a lovely stay, see you soon!

Radici is a beautiful agriturismo tucked into the Mediterranean scrub, and its cooking is a real tribute to Calabria. The dishes reinterpret traditional Calabrian food in a distinctive, interesting way, with careful presentation and wonderful flavors. I especially liked the wine list, which highlights Calabrian grape varieties that often get overlooked. The staff were friendly, and the elegant setting made for an intimate evening.
