The place is quiet and tucked away, and the rooms were clean with plenty of space. The kitchen, though, was cramped and small. Some outlets didn't work or were awkward to reach, and although there were plenty of plates and utensils, their quality was basic. The knives seemed like second hand ones and weren't good for cutting much.

We rented the whole villa so our family could attend a wedding nearby, and Relais Montemaggiore worked out perfectly. The grounds were lovely and the rooms beautiful. Giulia and her family looked after us well and arranged an authentic Tuscan meal for all 22 family members on the night we arrived. I'd highly recommend a stay here.

We had such a relaxing time in the Tuscan hills. The garden is gorgeous, with a lovely pool and a few enclosures for country animals, and the owners' adorable dogs and cats were lovely company. The staff were always kind, attentive, and helpful. A great spot for a few peaceful days surrounded by nature, highly recommended.

The Tuscan-style rooms were beautiful, clean, and quiet, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. We only had one night here, but the property's incredible setting and lovely pool made it feel so relaxing. We'll definitely be back!

I left my spare TomTom GPS in the room when I checked out. Once I got home and noticed, I emailed the accommodation right away to ask them to send it to my address. They replied that it would go out shortly, but a month and a half later it still hadn't arrived. I followed up several times by email to ask whether it had been sent, and got no reply at all. In my view, they're very unreliable and thieves, and I wouldn't recommend booking here. Anything you leave behind is lost. Regards, Patrick.
