We felt like close family here. The owners were so welcoming and kind, and took good care of us. The apartment has a lovely atmosphere, and both it and the city are historic places worth visiting. It was a peaceful stop on our way through Tuscany and a handy base for nearby thermal baths. We'd recommend it to anyone after a relaxing break. Thanks for all your help and care. The apartment is lovely, the hostess was kind, and the village is quiet and pleasant. I gave it three stars partly because I didn't want to be too harsh, but also because the house had some functional problems during our late-December stay. The first day was freezing because the heating was old, and we spent the night in two blankets, dressed like Eskimos. We also paid €10 per person for damp firewood to grill sausages, which was money wasted. The charge for that wet wood is €10 a day. Apart from those issues, everything else was fine.
