Cottage Le Pozze

We came for a weekend with friends and already want to return. The evening organized like an event and the outdoor barbecue on Sunday made the trip unforgettable. The farmhouse is meticulously cared for, with warm, clean rooms and tasteful furnishings. There is plenty of space indoors, while the pool and walking paths make it easy to relax outside. It's a lovely way to get away from the bustle and spend time together amid the peace and colors of the Tuscan countryside.

Antonio, who lives next door and looks after the house, was very friendly, and the property itself is beautiful, spacious, and has a huge pool. Still, it was poorly maintained and very dirty. The dishwasher didn't work, and the bed linens smelled musty and looked unwashed, so we washed them ourselves. When we declined to pay the full cleaning fee, the worst areas were cleaned at our request, and Antonio also took care of our dirty dishes. In other houses we've stayed in, professional cleaners handled the final clean, and I'd recommend that here too. We've booked houses like this for ten years and never had this happen. We still enjoyed ourselves and tried not to let it ruin the holiday, but I wouldn't recommend the house.

We had a successful weekend here with friends for a birthday. The living area is roomy and welcoming, and the upstairs bedrooms feel comfortable and private. The setting is beautiful and green, with nature sounds, walks, bike rides, and a pool to enjoy. It's an ideal place to step away for a few relaxing days. Hard to sum up briefly, but it was a wonderful experience I'd gladly repeat and recommend.

The outdoor space was a highlight, with olive groves and vineyards to wander among and a memorable barbecue. I stayed for a festive event at this lovely farmhouse in the Tuscan hills, close to villages such as Pienza and Montalcino. Inside, the room was comfortable and nicely furnished, and the spacious common areas were elegant, with billiards and table football. There was also a beautiful dining room with a fireplace. I'd happily do it again.
