The location was fantastic, with a beautiful beach right there and the town’s shops and restaurants easy to reach. The apartment, though, had a bedroom door that wouldn’t shut and a bed frame that seemed ready to fall apart. Sleep was impossible with the neighbor’s TV blaring. They seemed to be a long-term tenant, and there was an unpleasant smell from their apartment. Getting to our place meant crossing a small park being used as a litter box, a daily obstacle course. Cats meowed at the door early in the morning for food, and sometimes there was even a dead mouse left as a trophy. Disgusting.

It’s a shame they’re already fully booked for next year. The apartment was very clean and nice, close to the beach and in a great spot. The host kept to himself, but was very helpful whenever we needed him.
