The owner was really friendly and helpful, and there are loads of animals to spend time with, including horses, donkeys, cats and dogs. St. Lucia is close enough to walk to for the beach and restaurants, and the nearby highways are easy to reach by car. Just keep your expectations in check: the rooms aren't very big and breakfast doesn't have much choice, so it's not a five star hotel. It may also not suit anyone allergic to the animals.

The beach and the town for eating are both about a 10 minute walk away. It's a lovely, quiet little place with lots of animals, so great for kids. The owners were really nice and helped us with everything we needed. I'd happily recommend it. Bring mosquito repellent 😉

It's a horse breeding stable, and that gives the place a really authentic feel. The owners are kind and welcoming, and it's an amazing spot.

A peaceful, laid-back stay surrounded by nature, and a nice beach is within walking distance. The owners and service were very friendly. They even made homemade gluten-free cookies especially for me. Definitely recommended!

Stefano was a great host, always friendly, attentive and ready to handle special requests. We stayed two nights in this peaceful riding stable, where the former horse stalls have been renovated with a lot of taste and have a distinctive feel. Our room had a kettle, espresso machine, fridge and a large bathroom, and private parking was only a few steps away. It's very quiet here, just the thing for a relaxing break. Santa Lucia is 800 meters away, with bars and restaurants, and the area's nicest beaches are a few kilometers further. Breakfast was simple but satisfying: coffee, milk, homemade cake, yogurt, bread, butter, jam and fruit juice. A couple of small things could be improved. The big windows let in morning light from around 6:00 a.m., so blackout shades would help, and there weren't any hooks for bath or face towels. Still, I'd highly recommend the property for a calm, welcoming stay in a convenient spot.
