We had a big, pleasant room, though it was rather dark, and the window was broken so we couldn't really open it. The garden is beautifully cared for, and there are plenty of sunbeds around a great pool. Breakfast was tasty and had some variety. What we missed was dinner: the resort has no dining option, so you need to eat out or get takeaway pizza.

The staff were so kind and did their best to make our stay enjoyable. We went in May, when many hotels with pools had theirs closed, but this one had a lovely little pool that our children adored. Staff said it opens in mid-April. Our rooms had everything we needed, and we would happily return any time. Highly recommended!

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the pool and sunbeds were good. The location works well for nearby beaches, but you'll need a car. Exploring locally is easy enough, though crossing to the other side of the island is a formidable trip. Some upkeep is overdue: the complex may have been a four- or five-star resort when new, but showers and other bathroom fittings are starting to show grime and mould after a few years. The pool steps are steep and have no handrail, so they may be difficult if you're not fully fit. Near the entrance, some rough stones are loose and sharp. Breakfast was disappointing apart from the perfect coffee, maybe two stars at best. We didn't eat there in the evening because the food was very traditional local fare and didn't suit our tastes.

It feels so peaceful here, and the rooms, pool, surrounding area, and breakfast were all lovely. Breakfast was divine, with a wide choice of Sicilian sweets and meats. The breakfast lady was a sweetheart too. There was also a lovely cat on the property who kept coming to our room to hang out. We named him Simba.

I love this place. The service was professional, the breakfast was the best I've had so far, and the beds were comfy. The rooms smelled nice and had just the right decor. And that pool, wow.
