The grounds were beautiful, the rooms spacious, and we got a lovely welcome. We stayed at La Frescura for two nights at the end of a longer trip around Sicily. It suited us perfectly as a base for Pantalica and the nearby villages, while Siracusa and Catania were also easy to reach. Floridia, the closest town, looked unpromising at first but had excellent food. Of the two places we tried, Vecchio Aquarium was the best, as La Frescura's owner had recommended. Breakfast was a real pleasure, especially if you like fruit, and we left very happy. We'd gladly stay again.

The grounds are lovely to wander around, and the rooftop terrace is a great place to unwind at sunset. La Frescura is close to Sirscusa but still feels like it's in the countryside. We had a lovely stay, thank you, Franca. You have a beautiful property, and we highly recommend it.

Easy to find, and everything was spotless and put together with real class. The setting is beautiful, the design is tasteful, and you can see the care in the details. Service was excellent too. Highly recommended.
