The house has a lot of charm, with its recycled furnishings and all the lovely little objects that give it character. It’s tucked into nature, close to Cassibile and Fontane Bianche beach, and it’s easy to get to the Plemmirio coast, Arenella, Gelsomineto, and other beaches from there. There are some basics that need attention, though. The broken folding bathroom door should be repaired, and for six people one Moka pot is far too noisy, so an electric coffee maker would help. The kitchen needs full sets of cutlery, pans, and saucepans. The few pans there have scratched Teflon, which concerned me about health. I also had to ask for tablecloths and cloths. Between rentals, the inside and outside need a proper clean: cobwebs in the house aren’t okay. It would also be good to have a basket of water, a spare gas cylinder, and cleaning products for the bathroom and kitchen. We’ve just come back from a holiday there and left an excellent review on Booking.com. I hope the owner will take these suggestions as constructive feedback while planning a more substantial renovation.
