A lovely rural farm hotel, with animals and beautiful trees, while still being close to Syracuse. The shower cubicle was mouldy, and the bed was a very small double even though Expedia had listed a king when I booked. Those seem like small fixes.

We found the staff incredibly friendly and ready to help with requests, and breakfast was delicious. The place was extremely clean and well equipped. It's a peaceful spot in the Syracuse countryside, close to Syracuse and Ortigia, with a small museum of traditional artifacts and a little farm for animal lovers. A great place for family time, and I highly recommend a visit.

We like staying somewhere quieter outside busy city areas, and Agriturismo Papyrus suited us perfectly. The farm is lovely, with beautiful landscaping and lots of different plants and trees. There are all sorts of animals too, including a donkey, peacock, chickens, roosters, ducks, and geese. The owner was warm and gave us a detailed guide to what to see in Siracusa and Ortigia. Our room was comfortable and very large, breakfast was wonderful every morning, and it was great to cool off in the pool when the day got hot. The only downside was the wifi in our room kept dropping in and out. Maybe that's hard to avoid in such a spread-out rural place.

We had a fantastic week here as a family of four. The grounds seem very thoughtfully laid out, and the staff were welcoming and really nice. It's peaceful, around 15 minutes outside the city.
