B&B Asparano

We checked in and left after just 20 minutes. The room smelled of mold, the pool was closed, and the property seemed abandoned. When I raised the mismatch with the Booking.com photos, the woman responsible for the BB was extremely rude. We decided to leave, then were falsely accused of damaging the room key. We'll never come back.

On our last morning, repair work started directly above us at 7:30 a.m. on a Sunday and woke us up. There are lots of cats in the yard, and it's fun to play with them, though the smell of cat urine around the house and sometimes in the room was quite strong. The room was large and reasonably clean, and the host was welcoming and kind. The secluded, peaceful place was lovely for sitting in the garden at night, looking at the stars with a glass of wine, as long as the mosquitoes didn't get you.

The garden is a beautiful oasis, and the cats are lovely. Bring mosquito repellent for breakfast, though the rooms have it. Our hosts were so attentive, the rooms thoughtfully decorated, and breakfast had anything you could ask for. They even brought me some of their own olive oil to taste. I feel the reviews about the pool are hurting the five-star ratings this incredible B&B deserves. This place is beautiful and so well cared for.

A clean, green place with a pool and cute cats, where they make you feel part of the family. Each day brought fresh pastries and brioches, and granita too. Just forget the clock and enjoy it.
