B&B CasaVinci

Casa Vinci is beautifully decorated, with comfortable, lovely rooms and a great homemade breakfast. We especially appreciated the hospitality and the tips about places to visit, city events and good restaurants. Ortigia is very close, but the area is quieter, and the Greek theatre area is about a 15-minute walk away. We had an amazing stay and would love to return.

Eleonara and Renato made it so easy to feel welcome from the very start. They’re kind, generous with advice and have a great sense of humor, and we wished we could’ve spent longer with them. Breakfast was ma-gni-fi-que-ly delicious, with fresh ingredients and some homemade treats. The room, bathroom and shared spaces were all comfortable, with thoughtful little touches in the decor. If I could, I’d give this stay 15 out of 10. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We recommend it without hesitation!

From the terrace, we had lovely views toward the city and sea, and Ortigia is only a five-minute walk away. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Renato and Eleonora have clearly put thought into every detail of the house. We heard about Renato’s family history and got great sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. Eleonora’s breakfast was fantastic, with lots of homemade food. Their honey and jams were delicious, as were the organic fruits from their garden a few kilometers from Siracusa. We really enjoyed staying here. Thank you, Renato and Eleonora, for making us feel so welcome!

Getting around from Casa Vinci was easy: it’s a flat 10-minute walk from the Central Station and just over the bridge from Ortigia. Ele and Renato welcomed me in person and shared so many useful travel and dining tips that I made the most of every minute. The rooms were very clean, and I loved the movie vibe and personality. Fresh produce at breakfast was a treat, and the homemade biscuits were naughty but so nice. It was amazing value. Ele and Renato are two of the nicest people I’ve met while travelling, and I travel a lot! I don’t often stay at bed and breakfasts, but this was a wonderful experience. I only wish I’d booked another night or two.
