Marcello was a great host. He helped us find parking, carried our luggage to the apartment, and shared lots of tips about sights and restaurants. Aretusa Apartments is spacious, modern, and very well equipped, right in the heart of Ortigia’s old town, which made it ideal for exploring. We wholeheartedly recommend it for a few days in Ortigia.

There are lots of good restaurants nearby, and you can take several trips within about 50 km if you have a rental car. The place sits beautifully by Fonte Aretusa, lively through the day and calmer in the evening. It feels a bit rustic, but I liked it.
