Barbara B&B

Breakfast was carefully put together and had everything we needed as a family. The rooms were roomy, comfortable, clean, and fully equipped, and the setting was peaceful. The location also worked well for days at the sea and for cultural or scenic outings. Emanuele and Barbara made the stay especially memorable with their stories, ideas, and advice tailored to what guests ask for. We would love to return soon.

Barbara and Emanuele made us feel at home from the start, and that welcome was a big part of our lovely stay. They were always ready to help, while Emanuele shared useful ideas for historical, cultural, nature, and food and wine outings. Breakfast had plenty of sweet and savory choices, seasonal fruit, and local products. The Sicilian cannoli Emanuele filled were superb, Barbara's homemade cakes were delicious, and he also made hot drinks with lovely cappuccino decorations. The property itself is well kept, with a flower-filled garden, a pool and showers, and on-site parking. There's also a kitchenette, washing machine, and coffee machine in the living room, where guests can eat. Rooms are clean and spacious. It's a few minutes' drive from Fontane Bianche beach and convenient for visiting Noto, the Vendicari and Plemmirio nature reserves, Ortigia, Syracuse's beaches, Marzamemi, and other local sights. We had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend it.

The location made it easy to get to a lot of beaches and places around Syracuse, Noto, Marzamemi, and beyond. Emanuele was friendly and ready to help.

Emanuele was exceptionally hospitable and willing to help with any request. Our ground-floor room was large and clean, and the place outside the center was peaceful. Breakfast was the usual biscuits, croissants, cereal, and so on, but Mrs. Barbara's homemade cakes were genuinely delicious. The lady living upstairs, though, had poor manners, which was a shame.
