The rooms were clean, roomy enough, and equipped with modern tech. The staff were exceptionally nice and very helpful. The location is the one drawback.

Nice place.

The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, which was unpleasant for us as non-smokers. The bathroom had a lasting musty odor too, along with a dirty shower, mold, and taps badly affected by limescale. The chrome was worn, and mineral buildup restricted the water flow. There were clear hygiene and structural problems throughout the room. The published photos don't show the rooms as they are now. The property looks neglected, as though it hasn't been maintained for years, and feels more like a low-end guesthouse than a hotel. Breakfast wasn't included, and at the price asked, the value was poor compared with other nearby places. Recent reviews suggest that other guests have been raising many of these problems for a while, with no fixes apparent. Most of the more positive reviews seem to be from several years back, when the place may have been in better shape. A disappointing stay, and I wouldn't recommend it.

We were there for just one night, thankfully. The room was in awful shape, both in terms of cleanliness and condition: the bathroom taps and toilet seat were ruined, the shower had mold, the window pane was broken, and so on. The photos bear hardly any resemblance to the property as it actually is.
