Casa Bacchilide

La Dimora di Bacchilide was the best place we've stayed in Syracuse so far. My boyfriend and I are both 31 and have been visiting the city and Ortigia for years, so finding it was a great surprise. At Via Bacchilide 33, it was easy to avoid the ZTL and the difficult parking in Ortigia, while still walking to the Duomo and historic center in about 10 minutes. The Neapolis Archaeological Park and Greek Theater are just steps away too. The apartment was quiet, spotless, and modern, with a bed that was really comfortable. Anna was fantastic, always helpful and happy to suggest restaurants and beaches. For somewhere practical, good quality, and fairly priced, this is a great choice. We'll definitely come back.

Waking up to the waves along the shore and the smell of the sea is a lovely way to start the day. This seaside home in Syracuse Ortigia has become my ideal summer escape from the noise of Milan. The place feels tied to ancient Greek and Sicilian traditions, and staying there means more than just having somewhere to sleep. It's been a chance to relax and discover the area, and it's given me precious memories. Thank you, Syracuse Ortigia. I can't wait to return.

The apartment is in a 1960 building and has been recently renovated, with free WiFi and air conditioning. From here, Syracuse Small Beach is 600 meters away, the Temple of Apollo is 1.1 km away, and the Fountain of Diana is 1.5 km away. Cala Rossa Beach, Porto Piccolo, and the Neapolis Archaeological Park are also easy to reach. Catania Fontanarossa Airport is 63 km away, and the bus stop for airport trips is 100 meters from the property. Inside, there's a bedroom, a living room with a double sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, coffee maker, toaster, and coffee pods. You can prepare meals with local produce. The bathroom has a shower, bidet, washing machine, and hairdryer. There's also a welcome drink and chocolates or cookies when you arrive.
