This is an old apartment split into several bedrooms and bathrooms, with very thin internal walls; we could hear everything happening elsewhere in the apartment. There's no lobby, and the entrance is a dark stairwell. As a woman, I wouldn't have felt safe there on my own. We waited 20-30 minutes for the owner to arrive and check us in, and there's nobody on site if you need help. It wasn't cheap enough to make those drawbacks worthwhile. Hotels a few blocks away cost about the same. The two nearby hotels where I've stayed were really nice, and I felt safe and had privacy there.

Breakfast was brought to our room and had a good mix of sweet and savoury food. The hosts were really nice and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful and sparkling clean. We stayed one night at this great B&B, only a two-minute walk from Ortigia. I'd definitely recommend it when visiting lovely Siracusa.

The owners take real pride in looking after guests. We got wonderful service and a beautiful place to stay, plus an amazing breakfast to go. There was so much to see right outside, and I wish we'd had more time in the area.

This may be the best B&B experience we've had anywhere. We've stayed in B&Bs all over the world, and I first thought it was the best of our Sicily trip before deciding it might top them all. Anna, the hostess, was sweet and very helpful. The location is awesome, right by the bridge to the island and across the street from what we thought was the best gelato in Sicily. Breakfast was far too much excellent food. There's just one room available, so book right away if it's open for your dates.

The breakfast had a good spread, and the room felt newly refurbished. The hosts were very welcoming, and the B&B is well placed if you want to stay near Ortigia. A great option.
