For such a great price in the heart of the city, I expected much less. The beach and main squer are only minutes away, and the WiFi worked like a dream. Breakfast is two minutes away at the main squer. The B&B is spotless, and I’ve never felt this comfortable in a hotel or B&B. The photos are old, since it’s now a different, much nicer and brand new B&B with a different owner, Giorgio. He’s the best and does everything he can to make your stay enjoyable. I’d love to come back and will definitely recommend Al Teatro to everyone coming to Ortigia!

The lady who welcomed us was very kind, but the rooms were noisy. We could hear a couple arguing and yelling upstairs. Breakfast was at the bar in the cathedral, which was very charming, but the B&B owners had said it would be served at 7:30. When we arrived, a very rude waiter told us they didn’t serve anything before 8. Please make the time clearer in future. Even on vacation, people plan their days. The service they provide isn’t worth the high price.

Right in the heart of Ortigia, the location is excellent, and the staff were courteous and helpful. The room was fresh, nice, and clean, but tiny, with hardly anywhere to put even small suitcases. A luggage rack, a double outlet for the kettle, and some instant coffee would be enough to improve that. Breakfast at Gran Caffè Duomo was a plus!

The owner is a kind, very hospitable guy, and breakfast is served at the bar in a good pastry shop. The rooms are new and clean, and the location is quiet. Highly recommended.

Breakfast is served at a wonderful bar overlooking the cathedral, and the food there is excellent. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The place itself is beautiful, clean, and very welcoming, and just a short distance from the center of beautiful Ortigia. Highly recommended, especially for the price.
