The air conditioning worked very well. That was the one good thing about this stay. The toilet also made a loud roaring sound that went on for an hour after flushing. I wouldn't stay here again. We booked under casa verga, but apparently the property uses another name too, and we couldn't find it because there was no sign. At the entrance, a very angry homeless man was sleeping across the doorway, and there were several cockroaches. Once we got inside, we were given the wrong keys, with no key for the outer door. We only discovered that later, when we returned to change and couldn't get in. We called over and over and messaged the hotel's number, but nobody answered. By chance, we asked at the shop next door if they knew another number. The shopkeeper was an angel and had a spare key. After getting in, we had to search the unlocked office for a spare front door key. We left a note about it, but it was still there at checkout. If that shopkeeper hadn't helped us, I have no doubt we'd have been locked out all night without our luggage. A narrowly avoided disaster, and unacceptable.

We stayed at casa verga on July 5, 2023. The listing advertised bed and breakfast, but there was no breakfast. We booked through Booking and had noted that we'd pay at the property. We gave the manager 160 euros in cash, but the same amount was also charged to our credit card. I've contacted them several times to get the money back, and they've ignored me. I also filed a request through Booking and got no response. They refuse to refund it. If you're staying there, check your credit card before paying.

We had a private bathroom, which was good, and the owners were really nice. The bed in room 5 wasn't comfortable, though. It felt like sleeping on a box bed. Breakfast was great, and the location was amazing, close to everything.

The location is good, but I warn people against choosing this place. It was a nightmare, far below what anyone should expect these days. Even a modest room should at least be clean and working. Our room was dirty, the TV and AC didn't work, and the host wouldn't answer. The keys didn't work either, so I spent ages stuck at the entrance until I managed to get other guests to open the door. The people responsible for the property don't respond. This was the worst experience ever. The accommodation should be closed.
