We came away having had the best carbonara of our lives, at a very reasonable price. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. I only stopped in at first because I urgently needed the washroom, but after looking at the Google reviews, we decided to eat there. I'm so glad we did. Highly recommend!
We shared the Roma-style fried vegetables, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The Troccoli with guanciale and artichoke was a standout, and the traditional baccala was prepared to perfection in December. It's a cozy, welcoming place run by the owner, with excellent food and good service. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant.
The cod tempura was outstanding. I came three times and ordered it twice. The pappardelle with porcini and the sausage ravioli were very good too. The owners create a welcoming atmosphere, with lots of cats and babies around.
We've returned several times because the food is absolutely perfect, and the staff are caring and welcoming, even with our four-year-old daughter. They brought her appetizers we hadn't ordered and gave us parents treats too. Those small, thoughtful gestures really blew me away. The food and service have made this the most incredible restaurant experience of my life. 10/10, I can't recommend this gem enough!
We felt cozy and genuinely welcome, and the food was spectacular, the best we had during our week in Sicily. The tuna steak was cooked perfectly, and the prices were very reasonable. For two generous starters, two mains, water, and half a liter of wine, we paid €60. If you want authentic Italian cooking in Syracuse, this is the place. Grazie!
