We stayed last August and were very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, air conditioned, and well insulated against both noise and heat. The owner made us feel welcome and gave us excellent advice for getting around Syracuse and exploring the city. Thanks again! Syracuse is a must-see for anyone visiting Sicily!

Being only a few minutes from Ortygia made it easy to explore Syracuse on foot. Mrs. Mirella and Mr. Riccardo gave us a warm welcome, helped us find parking on April 25th, and went through what to see and do with us using a handy map. Our room had plenty of space, was clean, and even had a minibar to keep water cold. The road outside was busy, but the soundproof windows kept almost all the noise out. For breakfast we chose brioche and bread, then tried the mini pizzas, both the tomato-topped ones and the plain kind with oregano. Everything had been made fresh that day. We had a really positive stay.

Cleanliness matters a lot to me, and the place was spotless and smelled fresh. Everything was sealed, too. Even though it's on the ground floor facing the street, the soundproof windows kept things quiet. It's only a few minutes from the center. The staff were warm and helpful, with suggestions for places to visit and eat. I recommend it ❤️ (I took the photo before leaving the room.)

The owners were lovely to talk with over breakfast, and gave us useful ideas for the area. When our motorcycle had trouble on a Friday evening, they helped us reach nearby repair shops and a tow truck, even though the timing was awkward. Breakfast is served in a room just before the bedrooms. You pick sweet or savory options the day before, and the owners bring them over in the morning. The croissants come fresh from the bar. Since I'm celiac, they brought packaged items for me and even managed to find a fresh croissant there. We could park for free in front of the property, though with the motorcycle we chose an indoor garage about 1 km away. It was the closest covered option with video surveillance. As for the stay itself, our room was spotless and spacious, with a roomy bathroom. It faced a busy, noisy street, including at night, but the insulated window blocked the sound. The place is well positioned for getting around on foot, about five minutes from the entrance to Ortigia and five minutes from Syracuse center.
