Fortuna Guest House

We were lucky enough to park right outside the door. The room and bathroom were nice, and breakfast was left outside our door. It was nice, though there was very little personal contact.

The rooms were clean and cozy, and the route to Ortigia was easy and safe, taking about 20 minutes. Tonino was a pleasant, helpful host who told us about restaurants, beaches, and coffee spots. He even offered us free coffee and a croissant each morning, though we hadn’t paid for breakfast.

The room was clean and well maintained, and the host was very nice and helpful. He was always available in the booking chat. Breakfast was simple, like everywhere else, but there were too many sweets for the morning. The location is great. The local roads are very narrow, but we’re used to that and always found parking nearby.

The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, and the location made it easy to explore Siracusa and Ortega. What really made our two nights, though, was the owner. He was friendly, fun, and so helpful, even sorting out Greek theatre tickets and saving us a lot of hassle. I wish every landlord were like him.
