Please avoid this place. The room was damp and moldy, not very clean, and had insects throughout. My parents stayed in mid-June, and my father had a severe allergic reaction that they believed was caused by the damp in the room. The owner dismissed their concerns, canceled their Booking.com reservation so they couldn’t leave a negative review, and didn’t refund them. The photos speak for themselves.

We arrived around 11 PM, but self check-in was easy and everything went smoothly. The room was very spacious, though a bit damp, possibly because it’s on the ground floor of an old building and the way it was built. It had everything we wanted, including a little kitchen with a mokapot.

The pictures make this apartment look much nicer than it is. There are no windows and there’s a really unpleasant smell. I was glad our stay was just two nights. They did offer one free coffee per person.

The place itself is very nice, but the old sewer system means you can’t use the toilet normally. Toilet paper has to go in the bin. Apparently this rule applies across the island on ground floors, so I’d suggest booking a first-floor place or checking before you reserve.
